Our Authentication Process
Every watch sold by Prime Horology is inspected for authenticity before being offered for sale. We stand behind the authenticity of every timepiece we sell.
Inspection and Verification
Our evaluation considers the watch’s identifying details, physical condition, and available documentation.
Depending on the watch, relevant checks may include:
- Reference and serial number consistency
- Case, dial, hands, bracelet, and exterior components
- Movement identification and functionality
- Warranty cards, certificates, and service documentation, when available
- Condition and signs of replacement or modified components
Where additional technical inspection is appropriate, we may consult a qualified watchmaker.
Condition and Documentation
An authentic pre-owned watch may show signs of use, contain replacement components, or be sold without its original box or paperwork.
We aim to describe each watch accurately and identify material information about its condition and included accessories.
